Why I built this

Big-company finance, built for a small business.

For 24 years I worked in places where the numbers were never in doubt — Citigroup, ABN AMRO, private-equity fund reporting. Teams of people, real-time dashboards, nothing left to chance.

Then I started paying attention to how small businesses actually live with their finances. The owner doing the books at 11pm. The accountant who appears once a year with a bill and a shrug. Software that promised simplicity and delivered a second job. Most owners I met couldn’t answer one simple question — did I actually make money last month? — and none of it was their fault.

That gap is the whole reason BlackpeakCFO exists: the same financial clarity a large institution takes for granted, built for a small business, at a fixed price you can plan around — and run by me, personally, not a faraway team.

Most owners don’t need more software. They need someone to take the finances off their plate — and tell them the truth about the numbers. Stuart Wilson, ACMA CGMA

What it’s like to work with me

No jargon. No surprises.
Just your numbers, handled.

You’re hiring a person, not a portal. Here’s exactly what that means.

  • 01

    You deal with me

Not a call centre, not a junior, not an offshore team. The person doing your numbers is the person who answers your email.

  • 02

    Plain English, always

You’ll never get a report you can’t read. Every number comes with what it means and what to do next.

  • 03

    A fixed price, up front

No hourly meter, no surprise invoices. You know exactly what it costs before you say yes.

  • 04

    On time, every month

Your numbers land by the 5th — not six weeks late, when the decisions have already been made.

Let’s sort your finances out.

Send your details in a one-minute form. I read every one personally and reply within one business day — no jargon, no obligation, no phone calls unless you specifically want one.
